It is divided into two villages: Nkometou I and Nkometou II. Located 27 km north of Yaoundé, the town of Nkoumetou is crossed by the national road, on the route linking Yaoundé and Obala. The equatorial climate is ideal for farming, especially cocoa, which is the main economic activity for the local population.
